Definition - What does Body Composition mean?

Body composition, within the context of health and wellness is generally used to refer to the cumulative percentage of fat tissue in the body; separate from vital constituents including internal organs, bone tissue, and muscle mass. A person’s body composition is proportionate to their height and weight, therefore, variables account for individual biological measurements. This measure is commonly used as a denominator for ascertaining the general health in people.
